Recently, Homewerks had the pleasure of working with an incredible community to fight for a noble cause. The neighborhood of Cress Creek held an event to raise money for Elsie Johnson, a member of the community who is fighting ALS. At Homewerks, we strongly believe in giving back to our valued customers and the people of Naperville, so we were very eager and humbled when we were asked to be a host and sponsor for such an important evening.

Stepping into a New Design World

While many people recognize Homewerks as a company that specializes in designing and installing quality kitchens and baths, we were able to step into a different part of the design world for one evening. The charity event focused on creating a fun fashion show to bring everyone together. It was titled “Cress Creek Living’s Fashion Shower with a Purpose!” It was unbelievable to see the number of people who joined in support of Elsie. From donating for raffles to providing clothing, there were a number of giving hands working together to make the evening a success. In fact, all of the hard work paid off far more than anyone anticipated. Together, we were able to raise over $20,000 for Elsie. We would like to thank everyone involved, and we would like to wish Elsie well in her continued fight against ALS.
